Having now tried well over a dozen alternatives, Traycer's workflows are hands-down the best

I’ve gotten little usage because of integration. Since you need code integration more than IDE integration, what about an external tray tool similar to Kite. In fact, I think they open sourced Kite’s code when they went under, so that’s a solid starting point.

Anyway, great non-sociopath that actually does what you ask it to do and outputs workflows that seem to wrangle those sociopaths way better than I can.
